Subject: 1800 3s pack performing like a champ

Hey Bob,

The 1800 3s pack is the probably the best suited pack for the stella, it fits perfectly in the battery bay and only comes down warm after a very hard on the throttle 20 minute flight. It is the perfect size and weight with great flight times. I absolutely love this pack, it feels real strong as well.

Have a look at this thread on the stella, and you bet the 1800's are powering it.

Hello all,

Just a quick one to let all the fellow electric flyers know that I have made one of the biggest performance related discovery's since I have being flying My 3D foamies.

These batteries are also being used exclusively by Chris Callow (Twice World F3D champion) and I believe Gavin Broadbent (Qld F3A champ) has just grabbed some and is very impressed.

The guy's name is Lithium Bob form RC Lithium Power.Com... a Brisbane based company that specialises only in lithium cells. Bob made a pack up for my foamy and (3s2p) from the 830mah Hi-output cells he has and my foamy suddenly had all this new found power.....

The way he does it is his cells perform a lot better under load than all the other cells made avail to us in Australia, So when we are pulling approx 12a at full throttle in a foamy His batteries are hardly working and the battery voltage is up around 11v under load in a 3s circumstance where the other packs I was using drop below 9v!! You can imagine the difference 2v (20%) would make under load.

After thrashing about for 20 mins continuously the pack comes out of the plane luke warm and only generally takes 1000mah, considering its a 1660mah pack that isn't bad.... actually its bloody Great!

Check out the Discharge graph on his site.

He also sells a lot of 3s1p (3 cell) packs in the 830mah size for the smaller foamies and parkflyers and I reckon the 2s1p (2cell) packs will be a hit in everyone's Shockies and such.

He is very reasonably priced and gets the orders out quick which we all like :-)

Bob is easy to deal with you can call him on 0410 477 195 or deal with him over the net via his site.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED :-)

Chris Graham.
